Oud is expensive. It should not be living in a plastic bag.
A stone lid keeps the chips closed and out of the light, and it sits on the console next to the burner instead of at the back of a drawer.
It also takes rings, cufflinks, or whatever comes out of a pocket at the end of the day.

Care
For daily care, dust with a dry, soft cloth. If spills occur, wipe with a damp cloth using water only. Avoid the use of cleaners as they contain chemicals that may tarnish or damage the finish.
